ANTI NARCOTICS STUDENTS DRIVE PROGRAMS
A highly informative and enlightening Anti-Narcotics Student
Drive Program was recently organized by the Anti-Narcotics Cell in
collaboration with the Commerce Club at St. John's College, Anchal. The event
was held in the college auditorium on [Date] from 10:30 AM to 12 PM ON 9TH
November 2023. The program witnessed an enthusiastic participation of about 300
students.
The event began with a warm welcome by Dr. Limna Raj,
Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, followed by the
inauguration ceremony by the esteemed college Principal, Dr. Nisha Thomas.
Excise Officer Harilal conducted a comprehensive session on the perils of
narcotics, emphasizing the importance of a drug-free society. Dr. Anu Varghese
extended the vote of thanks.
This program served as a vital awareness initiative organized
by the Commerce Club, with active participation from all Commerce faculties. It
highlighted the college's commitment to nurturing responsible and informed
citizens who are equipped to combat the menace of narcotics in our society.
