 ANTI NARCOTICS STUDENTS DRIVE PROGRAMS A highly informative and enlightening Anti-Narcotics Student Drive Program was recently organized by the Anti-Narcotics Cell in collaboration with the Commerce Club at St. John's College, Anchal. The event was held in the college auditorium on [Date] from 10:30 AM to 12 PM ON 9 TH November 2023. The program witnessed an enthusiastic participation of about 300 students.   The event began with a warm welcome by Dr. Limna Raj, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, followed by the inauguration ceremony by the esteemed college Principal, Dr. Nisha Thomas. Excise Officer Harilal conducted a comprehensive session on the perils of narcotics, emphasizing the importance of a drug-free society. COMMERCE CLUB INNAUGURATION  The Commerce Club Inauguration on September 19th, 2023, was a memorable event. It was inaugurated by Divya, the Branch Manager of South Indian Bank, who delivered an inspiring speech on the topic of "Creating Commerce and Connecting Community." Her words set the tone for the event, emphasizing the importance of commerce in building strong communities. The Principal, Dr.Nisha Thomas, delivered the presidential address   The event had a dedicated team to ensure its success. Soju L Johnson served as the Faculty Coordinator, responsible for overseeing the club's activities and initiatives.   INDUSTRIAL VISIT(B.COM FINANCE) The industrial visit (15 th September ,2023) to the Modern Bread Factory in Edapally, Ernakulam, was organized for the students of Semester 5, B.Com Finance, from St. John's College, Anchal. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the operations of a modern food production facility and to help them connect classroom knowledge with real-world industrial practices.
